I slept early and woke up early to watch the launch. The 50% chance of a landing was acceptable, but I'm mildly infuriated with the impact.

Yes!! Hey, they got the Dragon into orbit, so thats a big success. But at least they got the 1st stage to touch the platform. Hopefully next time.

Musk said there's only telemetry of the rocket and pieces of it. We'll probably get a video of it soon.

I would imagine. If I was landing a rocket in a barge I would have cameras every 17 inches. Hopefully they share the video soon. He did say the barge was salvageable. We'll see.
